A little hard to find but worth the effort You would never expect to find a fantastic Mexican restaurant tucked behind a Target in a microscopic strip mall - but that is what Las Brisas is. It's a large restaurant with somewhat kitchy decor but the food, especially seafood selections are fantastic - has impressed many a Texan that I've taken there. The margaritas are fantastic - don't miss the top shelf margs. I highly recommend it!

They do not serve non white – I went to Las Brisas on Wed 05/12/2009. I sat at the bar for 30 mins the bartender refused to serve me. When my 2 white friends showed up, the bartender served them but still refused to serve me. The bartender and should be fired.

Great Guac Las Brisas is in a terrible location crammed in behind Target on Arapahoe Road. However, if you can find it, and can find decent parking, it's a nice little restaurant. The decor is kind of dumb but the food is really good. They make guacamole at your table to order and it's usually great! You can make it spicy, citrusy or whatever suits your palate. Good for blue corn enchiladas.

Best margaritas in town – Las Brisas has the best margaritas in town and they are very potent. 2 are plenty for just about anybody. If they cost more than other places (I'm not sure of that) it's probably because they actually have alcohol in them. I love the Blue Bonnet but you can drink their margaritas all night long and never know you had a drink! If you go on a weeknight, the bar is often packed by 5:30. The food is good and there is an interesting variety of dishes on the menu. Service has always been good for us in th... read more

Bad service on more than one occasion – We will never go back to Las Brisas again! My husband ordered the Verde and the black beans and rice were both very dry. My meal was decent; however, the service was so horrible that it's not worth it to eat there again. We have been there twice - the first time was a year and a half ago - it was around 4:30 or 5:00 PM (happy hour time although they do not offer one) and we just wanted Margarita's and appetizers. It was a Saturday and the restaurant was dead! Well our waiter had such a... read more

not your typical mexican restaurant; high alcohol prices – The menu has some interesting dishes. The food was very good, service nice the the price for a pitcher of margarita's was outragous. It was Friday Happy Hour and no special pricing. Out of a pitcher which cost over $20 we barely got 4 drinks. We defintely won't be back. I would much rather give my business to nearby La Fagota.

we kept seeing the ads for las brisas margaritas, so we decided to go see how good they really were. it's not your typical mexican restaurant, but the food was really good. the menu had lots of seafood options as well as other "coastal mexican" items. the day we went, i was expecting to be eating at a typical mexican place, so i wasn't really in the mood to try the seafood. i had the pork burrito, smothered, and it was really good, and a very huge portion. my husband enjoyed the margaritas as well. we'll definitely go back!
