Great Mexican Restaurant This warm, cheerful Mexican restaurant provides a good menu selection, efficient service, and reasonable prices. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a tropical location, with white walls and relaxed but cheerful music. The restaurant was clean and well-lit. Based on my own experience and several others I've spoken to, the food is always good.

Great Guac Las Brisas is in a terrible location crammed in behind Target on Arapahoe Road. However, if you can find it, and can find decent parking, it's a nice little restaurant. The decor is kind of dumb but the food is really good. They make guacamole at your table to order and it's usually great! You can make it spicy, citrusy or whatever suits your palate. Good for blue corn enchiladas.

A little hard to find but worth the effort You would never expect to find a fantastic Mexican restaurant tucked behind a Target in a microscopic strip mall - but that is what Las Brisas is. It's a large restaurant with somewhat kitchy decor but the food, especially seafood selections are fantastic - has impressed many a Texan that I've taken there. The margaritas are fantastic - don't miss the top shelf margs. I highly recommend it!

Too pricey for what you get. Overpriced Mexican food and overpriced margaritas. That's what I think of when I think of Las Brisas. Don't bother going there for dinner. You and your wallet would be better served elsewhere.

I've tried about half a dozen different entrees so far and everyone is excellent. I love the different dining rooms, cozy, romantic or festive... The place packs out for happy hour too.

Las Brisas is under new ownership as of June 2011 – Dear Guests,-- My name is Matteo, one of the new owners and general manager of the popular Las Brisas restaurant. I understand That Las Brisas had great deals of turmoils and ups and downs since it was first sold after 911. Unfortunately poor management and neglect took a big toll one the once most popular Latin Brand in Denver. However my partners and I are earnestly trying to make all the improvements to the restaurant in every aspect possible while maintaining the same s... read more

Where Is That Waiter? – We were very excited when our friends suggested we go to Las Brisas. We had been there years before, and thought it was marvelous. Not this time. First, there didn't seem to be anyone formally greeting/seating people. Then they sat us out on an enclosed patio. They had heaters (it is a November evening), but kept fooling with the thermostat, so that it alternated between roasting and too cool to be comfortable. Our waiter was the real prize, though. It took at least 10 minutes to come to us, then 20 m... read more

What happened? – We have enjoyed Las Brisas for many years. I don't know what happened, but after not going for quite awhile, last night's visit was a huge disappointment. The only good part was the table side guacamole. The fish tacos were absolutely awful...no flavor. Dry mahi on a dry tortilla with a bit of salad. Dull beans and rice. No sauce for taco...I can make them better at home. Husband ordered comination plate...said it was the worst mexican food he has ever eaten. We made it through half our meals and had enough.... read more

Business response:

Dear Loribelle,I Have aggressively worked on the kitchen as well and the food quality. Keeping the Las Brisas Classics but also introduced many new items.Furthermore our fish such as Mahi Mahi and the salmon are now bought fresh every three days. Our fish tacos are now served with fresh Mahi Mahi. I would rather make less profit but sell in volume and stand out the ordinary!! Checkout Thanks for another chance,Matteo Mazzullo Co-owner GM
