I came to know Dr. Thompson after my OBGYN retired. I had a complication and Dr. Thompson was able to see me quickly, even as a new patient. He subsequently did surgery, which turned out great. I just had my yearly followup. The staff working with him is wonderful also. The answer any questions, explain things clearly and don't make you feel rushed. I am very comfortable there and I trust that I am getting the best care.
Dr. Larry Thompson is a fantastic doctor! He is amazing and very caring and knowledgeable. His bedside manner is top-notch. His staff are just as wonderful! I will always recommend him. Amazing doctor! He listens and gives thoughtful advice. He makes me feel like he truly cares about me and my health.
Couldn’t ask for a better doctor who will explain everything in a simple way to his patients. He puts a logical spin over every explanation. He has a great sense of humor and is very genuine and a nice person.
Dr. Thompson is absolutely wonderful. He brings comfort to an uncomfortable situation. I had a surgery done by him several years ago, and a couple of years went by before I saw him again. He remembered me immediately. I've been seeing him annually ever since. He's the only doctor who has made me feel at ease during an appointment...even when he's relaying information that isn't always easy to hear. He truly is a very kind person, and an incredibly knowledgeable doctor in his field.
We had our daughter at hamot. They appts leading up to her giving birth were mostly dissapointing... Beautiful building, and some nice faces, but we literally saw a different doctor everyti.e we went, and most of them had the personality of a rattle snake. I would not recommended him. He did my surgery in a rush and ended up shutting down 1 of my kidneys I ended up needing emergency surgery two days later and then again in 4 months
Moved back to Erie 4 years ago and Dr. Thompson was recommended by a friend. He is wonderful. I almost look forward to my annual because he is personable and knowledgable in his field. Now I am the one recommending him to others.
