Our flagship! Buddy LaRosa and some friends opened his first pizzeria on this very site in 1954. It became a fast favorite of West Side families and launched what, over the next 60+ years, became a Cincinnati icon. Select from our entire menu of LaRosa family recipes in our dining room, from our famous pizza and hoagys to pasta, salads and more. And, we serve the entire menu both for pick up or delivery in the neighborhood, too.

Not the Best – La Rosas is good pizza don't get me wrong but this is simply good assembly line pizza. To get a real pizza you have to get outside the chain restraunts. The best in the Cincinnati area (In my opinion) is Chester's in Hamilton Ohio. Unfortunately you ahve to carry it home as they do not have anywhere to dine in as they closed their sit down chain in Fairfield several years ago. But for taste and consistent quality Chester's is still the best.
Heavenly Tastes – It's worth the drive from Dayton. Hit a few places for fun with friends, or start here first. The food has been always been consistently delicious (at least since 1984). My fave is the hand-tossed pizza; all of the pastas are robust in flavors. I will miss it very much when I move to Arizona.
yummy – the sauce is the best. I especially like the french onion soup. It's awesome.
No accounting for (lack of) taste – With the consistancy of wet newspaper, LaRosa's is as bland and tasteless as pizza can possibly be. You would do better by making yourself a nice grilled cheese sandwich and why this chain (the crust is pre-made and the ingredients arrive to the 'resturant' already prepared, in large plastic bags) remains so popular in Cincy is a mystery to this life-long resident.
I believe that LaRosa's is best. – I just wish they would open a LaRosa's in Lawrenceburg. I need to go either to Cincinnati area , or Batesville to enjoy LaRosa's Pizza. There Steak Hoagey's are absolutely delicious. Everyone can rave about fries from other stories, but I think that LaRosa fries are the best.
Best Pizza ever – OK. I grew up in Cincinnati and have since moved on to living in other less provincial areas of the country. (I now live in LA and used to live in the Bay Area) I have traveled a lot both in and out of the US as well. I can honestly say that I still, nearly every week, CRAVE LaRosa's pizza. It's the sauce, and the way they cook the cheese perfectly. I have been unable to find any place which even comes remotely close to LaRosa's pizza. I've tried pizza in Chicago, New York, LA, San Francisco, and it all com... read more
LaLaLaRosa's – Good pizza. The thin crust is my favorite. Take it is superb and is usually ready to be picked up in 10-15 minutes!!
Yummy! – You gotta love LaRosa's!!!! Its the best pizza in town. They have no competition...they are the best!
Only a native loves that sauce – I've always found LaRosa's sauce to be too sweet. I stick with the foccaccia pizzas (mediterranean being my preference) when I go there, or better yet, the pasta. There are so many other great pizza joints around that I wouldn't choose LaRosa's except for an office gathering.
