About this business

Our flagship! Buddy LaRosa and some friends opened his first pizzeria on this very site in 1954. It became a fast favorite of West Side families and launched what, over the next 60+ years, became a Cincinnati icon. Select from our entire menu of LaRosa family recipes in our dining room, from our famous pizza and hoagys to pasta, salads and more. And, we serve the entire menu both for pick up or delivery in the neighborhood, too.

Not very good – LaRosa's is not very good in my opinion. LaRosa's pizza ingredients just aren't that high quality, and the sauce is too sweet. The cheese is lower quality.

Run, Run For Your LIfe – Really pathetic, not Buddies pizza anymore. I can't think of a worst value for the money. Anyone calling this good pizza has a problem with percieved memory. Carol

VERY OVER PRICED AND SKIMPY ON THE TOPPINGS – The sauce and the cheese on the pizza are still fantastic, unfortunately every thing is skimped on so badly you can hardly taste it. I have been a LaRosa's customer since 1963. It was far and away the BEST for many years. Now, I refuse to buy it. The prices are ridiculous for what you get. Too bad, Buddy LaRosa's was a great guy, probably still is, but whoever is running things now has ruined it. Maybe they are just too big and have lost all quality control. I am very disappointe... read more

The atmosphere may be lacking, but families dig on delivery from this chain for its cheap, tasty pizzas and sandwiches. – In Short The dine-in facilities at LaRosa's are small and sterile, with plastic booths and napkin holders that usually need filling, but they're there if you need them. More often, pizza lovers carry out the goods or have them delivered with that magic number. Those not in the mood for pizza can branch out to a calzone, hoagie, lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs or even a salad. There are over 50 items ava... read more

Lost the right to be called "Italian" – The pizza is OK, but cheap and stingy with toppings for the overpriced menu across the board. They use something akin to rabbit pellets in their lasagna, and if you call for delievery they will skimp, knowing you won't send it away at the door. I called the home office to complain and they essentially laugh at me. They're like politicians knowing they will remain in business long after we're gone. They are a shadow of what they used to be, going for the profit instead of the quality. T... read more

Pizza Heaven – I LOVE LaRosa's pizza! I'm so happy we now have one in Southeast Indiana! No more drives to KY or OH for my favorite pizza! My friend from Michigan had never had this pizza till this past summer when the LaRosa's opened down here. She loves it! Just like the Gold Star Chili! I can never move from the Tri-State area b/c I would miss my pizza and chili! I think there pizza beats out all the others, but that's just my opinion!

Need to have it – I went into the Air Force in 1986, been around the world and back again. Been to Sicily and LaRosa's still stood the taste of time. People who dislike it really do not like pizza.

Best Pizza Ever!!! – I grew up in Cincinnati and now live in New Jersey and I have to say that I would kill for a slice of Larosa's pizza. Pizza joints are on every block around here and nothing compares to my well missed back home Larosa's.
