Our flagship! Buddy LaRosa and some friends opened his first pizzeria on this very site in 1954. It became a fast favorite of West Side families and launched what, over the next 60+ years, became a Cincinnati icon. Select from our entire menu of LaRosa family recipes in our dining room, from our famous pizza and hoagys to pasta, salads and more. And, we serve the entire menu both for pick up or delivery in the neighborhood, too.

LaRosa's SUCKS – the LaRosa's around my house is horrible. The pizza is flat, there's too much sauce, and not enough cheese or toppings. By the time it gets to my house the pizza is always cold. Also, the last 2 times they delivered, they didn't put in a bridge so all my toppings were stuck to the top of the cardboard box. Why the hell is this number 1? it should be at the bottom. For some good pizza, try Papa John's.
Awesome!!! – I have always enjoyed this restaurant. I always get a Royal hoagie and a large pizza.YUMMY
Caveat Emptor – I moved here from Ga. two years ago and was taken to LaRosa's on 3 different occasions. The first two times I was unimpressed with the food. I found it plain and boring, but I thought maybe it was the store where I was eating. I ate at another location and it was worse. The sauce that was put on the spaghetti was burned and the meatballs were bland. The food lacks imagination
LaRosa's - YUCK! – All sauces - pizza, spaghetti, etc., - taste the same - and all are TOO sweet!
Cincinnati does not know pizza – Pizza at LaRosa's is a consistant experience - for thirty years in Cincinnati this has been the poorest excuse for a pizza! The sauce is too sweet, the crust is tasteless, and the toppings can be counted on one hand on a large pizza! If you order a large pizza with anchovies, you get three anchovies. Certainly if you order anchovies, you must like them! LaRosa's is suppoesed to be Italian. You would think you could get garlic - either roasted or minced. Not even a choice! Cardboard – This pizza tastes like cardboard with some sauce. I grew up on the East Coast and was in the midwest for 3 years. Everytime they ordered LaRosa's, I ordered something else. Horrible.
Way to Sweet! – Good for the kids but no good for the adults!
Miss Ya!! – At one time this was the best pizza in town. The last 6 months or so the quality has declined along with the amount of time the pizza spends in the oven. Consistently undercooked and limited toppings!!
