An old neighborhood just to the Southwest of Downtown St. Louis, Lafayette Square was once among the wealthiest and most fashionable of St. Louis' neighborhoods, its large villas drawing the wealthy out from the downtown center. Lafayette Park, the last remaining of the old French common fields, was named after the Marquis de Lafayette, who visited St. Louis in 1825. Great food and atmosphere. Everything I tried was awesome. I had the fish tacos...fantastic. A friend had a plain cheese enchilada, it was phenomenal. Sit, coversate, enjoy the food and that spicy little treat named, Pat.
1st time here. We had warm family like service. Great margarita and oh, the Tamales. Tamales were moist and delicious as were the tacos al pastor. Thank you Laredo for a wonderful dinner.
As always, the food was excellent. Great flavor! Kind staff. They were very busy and the server apologized several times for the delay. But it was totally worth it.
