Wednesday, 12-11-2019 had six month check-up. Amazing technology and modern science at Elan Dental! X-rays done standing up, while rotating machine takes digital imagery of head; focusing on the mouth and jaw. Once seated back in patient chair, able to view all the digital images; truly remarkable. Hygienist, Briana, did periodontal exam prior to cleaning. This service checked health of gum-line vs. teeth roots. Then cleaning with water-pik and tools; gentler than without water. I have always had good experiences at Elan Dental. The new hygienist, Brianna, did a wonderful job with my cleaning yesterday!
I always receive great service and care when I go to either East Lansing Elan office. Staff is pleasant and knowledgeable and very understanding. They are willing to explain options and work with me to come up with the best plan of action. I don't think I would go anywhere else.
After a long stretch of not visiting a dentist, I struggled to find one in the area who was accepting new patients with my insurance. I'm thankful that I ended up at Elan Dental Group. During my initial visit and cleaning they were all super friendly, sincere, and did a great job. They were thorough but did not waste any time, I was in and out very quickly without feeling like they were rushing me out the door. It's a very compact office, but everything is clean and updated. Broken cuspid - Dr. Wagner worked me into his schedule for a temporary crown. As a result, I was back at work within an hour and a half.
On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, I had 5 fillings done. Dr. Wagner, along with the dental hygienist, did this work on me. Admittedly, I was less than thrilled to be there, but they were very kind and understanding and did everything possible to try to make me comfortable. They were very efficient, and the procedure took much less time than I had expected. My recovery from the procedure was minimal: my mouth was sore for the rest of the day, but that subsided with time. I’m fine now, and my teeth look great! Thanks!
