Inner-tube water slide doesn't hurt your back. I usually skip water slides for that reason but not here! Pause at the top to let the water build up behind your tube for a faster ride!
If you become a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member you get free parking for up to 2 cars.
Try the infinity pools to hear the dolphins and the whales. Go early to the beach to get beach toys and boogies boards they are free, the bigger stuff is for a fee but totally worth it.
My favorite place is the bottom level of the infinity whirlpool. It's not too hot, it's shady, and you have a full view of the ocean. You can't beat it.
Be sure to put ur head under water in the infinity pool & listen for the dolphin, whale. & volcano sounds
It is top of the range but due to negligence by lifeguard my mother almost drowned coming down from waterside. Not cool.
Eye spy menahunes (sp) but do you spy the animals in rock formations all around the resort? Don't forget to check in the Rainbow Reef!
Character breakfast was great. They come around to greet and take pics with you; live entertainment that involves your kids. I was able to sneak bites into keiki as she was happily distracted.
Keep an eye out for key/peep hole menahunes (sp?). I'll give away one to get you started: find an octopus in the rocks of the baby water splash area; one of its eyes is a peephole into a cute scene!
