Not bad. Could have used a little more seasoning. Kinda pricey

I’ve always been happy with Landry’s food until today. We had lunch and while the service was good, the food was lacking.
Waitress was training another. We ordered the gumbo and was very weak. Maybe six shrimp and not much sign of any crab meat. Refilled my sweet tea with regular tea and no ice. Had to ask for bread. Very disappointing!!
Cool place. People were nice. Price was way too much.
Worst service ever and the food wasn’t as good as I expected it to be for the price. Maybe don’t throw your servers on the floor without adequate training and knowledge of your menu. Oh, and don’t blame the BOH for FOH mistakes. I know the kitchen wasn’t “backed up” as the server and manager claimed. Funny that every other table that wasn’t in this particular server’s section got their food in a timely manner. Guess the kitchen was only backed up for that one three table section? I stopped by Friday night. I considered the stuffed shrimp, and my waitress suggested the shrimp enbrochette. The bacon was not rendered and under cooked, the shrimp were too small to carry the dish and only the sticking out tail portion was cooked, the stuffed wrapped portion was raw. I took them home and feed them to my dogs. Expensive dog food that. My sides? I understand fine dining desires, the green beans were pretty, but I don’t eat with my eyes.
