Being humans during this pandemic
Charging for normal maintenance. Sent a letter. Spoke to 2 managers at Athens office. Contacted corporate via voicemail. Zero response. Obviously other tenants having similar issues.
Overall the staff and the payment services were handled so well, and I never had any issues with being able to talk to the people I needed to talk to when I went to the office. However, my roommates and myself constantly put in work orders to control the roach problem we lived with for TWO YEARS. No matter how many times we tried to relay how bad the problem was or the number of work orders we put in, the problem was never even close to solved. I have rented from Landmark for the past year and a half. They have a great variety of housing you can choose from and the staff is always willing to help you with what you need. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to get a timeline on work orders. However, you can tell the staff works hard.
The units that Landmark Athens provides are great for college students. I thoroughly enjoyed having my own unit/house and not dealing with the frustrations of apartments: walking up a bunch of stairs, having loud people living above and under you, etc. Since the unit came unfurnished, we were able to make it feel homey and comfortable. I have been a renter with Landmark for the past year and 1/2. Staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. Only complaint is the lack of communication with work orders and getting things approved by the landlord. Overall good experience and can tell they do their best.
The staff with landmark are so helpful and always answer the calls! They are very understanding and are easy people to work with. Great place to live!! I have lived here for a year and have minimal complaints!
