Slap in the face – I made an appointment with Mandi Black for a haircut ($55) almost two weeks ago for the day after Thanksgiving. I got a call from the salon the day before Thanksgiving to tell me that she has gone out of town. What kind of place allows their staff to do this. I can understand if a death or some kind of illness but not this, what a slap in the face.

Hating the haircut – I remember myself asking for a master level stylist when scheduling an appointment, but only realized it was a beginner level who gave me a haircut at checkout. Walked in with the expectation of an awesome haircut from a master stylist, but walked out with great frustration. Now I need to look for another salon to get this awful haircut fixed.

Awesome Experience at Landis – I've always loved the "apprentice" side at Landis, but I had such a great experience Saturday I had to recommend my amazing stylist. It was my first time having Joe. Besides giving me a great haircut and wonderful scalp massage, he gave me advice, styling and product tips, and encouraged me to decide for myself what I should do in the future. Joe gave me a great, personalized experience. I would highly recommend him and I congratulate Landis on such a great find. Thanks!

Last time going to Landis. – I've been to the 9th east location three times. First time I had extensions removed from a friendly stylist, she did an excellent job styling my hair after the extensions were removed, I didn't go back to her for color because she only does extensions. The next time was okay, for the price the color could have been better. Nikki is the best – I was referred to see Nikki at Landis Aveda and I will never go anywhere else. I recently had a terrible haircut and I needed help! I was referred by a friend at work and I am so glad I found her. Landis is a little out of the way for me but totally worth it. I thought I needed to say something as I am very happy with my aline and the amazing head massage i got from her. If you are looking for a new girl, look no further, GO SEE NIKKI
Best Hair coloring EVER! – I went in to Landis today because my hair was a complete disaster from another Salon. I even had to skip work I was so horrified. I made an appointment with Jessica at Landis and she saved me! Seriously! She is INCREDIBLE with highlights and knew exactly what I wanted. Not only did she fix my hair, she gave me the best highlights I have ever gotten in my life. I would recommend Landis in a heartbeat- especially Jessica!

Love this place! – I started going to Landis just over a year ago and have not looked back! I have really curly hair and was having trouble finding anyone who could cut it right (although many places said they could). I called Landis and told them my situation and they set me up with Mandi Black. I can honestly say it's the best decision I've made in a long time! Mandi has a lot of talent and I can't imagine going anywhere else...ever!
