Horrible haircut, Late, Innappropriately pushes product – Be very wary of the hairstylist you pick at Landis if you have never been there before. I have no doubt that many of the stylist are fine or even great....however, they are some VERY bad ones mixed in which is not to be expected at an Aveda salon. I am referring to the stylists that are on the experienced side of the salon (not the apprentices).

Couldn't be happier – First, I should say I take my hair very, very seriously and don't let just anyone touch it, so I'm familiar with many SLC high end salons. I used to go to Lunatic Fringe until all my favorite artists left, and I decided to check out Landis in my search of a new salon. POSITIVE&UPBEAT. – I love, love, love AVEDA. And I love Landis just as much. It refreshing to be welcomed into a upbeat, friendly, & positive salon environment. Especially waltzing into a salon full of beautiful people. But, at Landis I didn't feel intimidated. Every service I've had at Landis has left me feeling well treated & a entirely taken care of. What an amazing environment!!! – I recently started working at Landis in April. I have been a hair stylist for almost 12 years and this is absolutely the BEST salon I have ever worked for. Landis really caters to career oriented professionals. I am so lucky to work with so many talented and inspiring individuals! It is incredible to me that even with so many employee's it has such a team feeling and everyone comes together and loves their job. I love being apart of the Landis family!

WAS the best... NOW UNPROFESSIONAL AND CATTY – What happened to Landis? I was a Landis customer from the time they opened and moved away. I just returned to SLC to visit family and made an appointment with a stylist that I did not know, Brooklyn. although the cut was ok, I did not enjoy her gossip. I am of the local religious group and found the salon atmosphere to be crass, catty, and arrogant. THEY WERE GOSSIPING ABOUT OTHER CLIENTS' DIVORCES AND CUSTODY ISSUES WHEN THEY WERE 10 FEET AWAY!!!! World Class Salon – The best of the best is what you will get at Landis. Beautiful surroundings, Aveda products, the best stress relieving treatments, skilled stylist, vibrant atmosphere and the top colorist in the Aveda network in the State of Utah. I love just being in the space that the Landis team has created!

I Love To Go To Landis Salons To Get Pampered!!! – Fortunately, I have been to Landis Lifestyle Salon many times. I generally request a different stylist each time, just to get to know new stylist, as they have all been awesome! My last visit was with Mandi Black, a Grand Salon Stylist; and as always, I was treated great. I loved the massage and I loved my hair cut and the way she styled it. 2nd degree burns and no calls returned – I have been going to Landis since they opened, for over 3 years! My facial waxing gave me 2nd degree burns because the stylist could not find her tweezers and used too much hot wax. The manager made one effort to return my call and offered no remorse or apology and barely seemed to care at all as to the situation. What a terrible place this salon has become. Don't go there!!! PS My hair person left a few years ago and I followed her to another much nicer Aveda Salon. Will never return... read more

What happened to... – I had been going to Landis on and off for awhile but was never really impressed until I found Amy, who was great. I thought, finally, someone who get's it! Unfortunately, the last time I booked an appointment they told me that Amy was no longer there, I asked if they knew where she had gone, of course they didn't/couldn't tell me.
