My family stayed in the Summerville North Carolina apartments and it had black mold threw out the apartment. There is standing water in laundry area. Which wasn't noticed until we went to wash a load of laundry. Tried to talk to the management of the property and was told I need to contact Landing which we had tried with no response. Do not book here if you have a child scheduled for surgery bc if they fail their pre-admitting screening and have to be rescheduled this company will not work with you. We had preadmitting yesterday and my son ended up having rhinovirus so we had reschedule his open heart surgery and return home. I contacted the manager and asked if we could be partially charged and credit us a couple days in a couple weeks when we are rescheduled and he refused. I booked 4 days so I felt that was reasonable. I briefly stayed at one of Landing’s furnished apartments in Atlanta. The building was called The Cortland at Phipps Plaza and my stay was atrocious. I moved in August 10th and unfortunately had to move out August 15th. The condition of the apartment was horrible. There were scuffs on the walls, blue stains on the shelves in the bathroom, an orange stain at the bottom of the tub, and BLACK MOLD growing coming from the vent in what was considered to be the “den” room in my apartment. I initially had a great experience with Landing when I joined in April 2024, but my recent experience has been awful. I was unexpectedly dealing with a serious illness and needed to stay in Sarasota/Bradenton for treatment. I explained my situation to Kevin Sanchez, who assured me he would help accommodate me. Suddenly, he stopped responding, and I later found out he was no longer with the company. No one followed up, and I was bumped from my unit with nowhere to go.
