Completely ignored when stopped in to buy a kayak rack and tie-downs for my vehicle today (7-10-20). Went home and found what I wanted online. Guess LCM doesn't need the business.
salesmen would only address my husband despite being told multiple times by both of us, not only was I the one purchasing the kayak but it was for me therefore my preferences are the ones that matter. happy to spend my money at Dick's then support this sexist small business.
On Friday, June 12 I purchased an extender bar for my truck hitch, anticipating my Kayak was too long for the bed of my truck. Turns out the extender bar was longer than my kayak. So on Saturday, June 13 after packaging the bar just as I had received it, I returned it to the store for a refund. I purposely did not tape the box closed so that store employees could inspect it to assure it was not damaged in any way. I bought a used boat from here about 2 weeks ago. I love the boat, just disappointed in the service. I was told that my boat had a tune up, it was ready to hit the water and that it was a very reliable boat. I had it on the water twice so far and had trouble with the engine randomly shutting off and puttering. I called to speak to Duane on Saturday and was told he was busy and would call me back. Fantastic selection in house, everybody was super patient and helpful even though they were crazy busy. Highly recommend.
First, amazing selection of kayaks...literally 100s of all various brands and types. Second, the service is unmatched. Greeted when I walked in. 2 minutes later Dale met me out on the floor and answered dozens of questions and helped me pick out my new Hurricane Kayak. Third, I wanted to outfit it with custom rod holders and they drew up a plan and installed it the very next day.
