Cheer's to Lamar Cooks Auto Choice – Every place can get get a bad review. I just want to throw it out there that I bought my 95 Saturn through Lamar Cook's and haven't had a problem since! I still drive it to this day! The sales person was great, the title clerk was WONDERFUL! Yeah, every place has not so charming points, but..if I need to buy another used car...Lamar Cooks is where I'm heading

Did we go to the same place? – After reading all of these reviews it is hard for me to believe that we are talking about the same place. I bought my car almost three months ago and have had no trouble at all. I was impressed with the large selection to choose from, so if you saying you got a POS car maybe you should have shopped around some more as I saw several very nice, newer models cars on the lot. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! – THIS COMPANY IS FULL OF BULL!!! THEY LET ME DRIVE OFF THE LOT WITH THE TRUCK THAT I WANTED.THEY WANTED A HUGE DOWN PAYMENT WE HAD AN AGREEMENT THAT I WOULD PUT THE DOWN PAYMENT WHEN I GET MY TAXES. I HAD THE TRUCK FOR THREE WEEKS WHEN THEY DESIDED THAT THEY NO LONGER WANTED TO WAIT FOR IT AND TOLD ME TO RETURN THEIR TRUCK. I INFORMED THEM THAT I DID MY TAXES ONLINE AND THE MANAGER SAID THAT WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH AND I NEEDED TO GO TO A CERTIFIED TAX PROFESSIONAL. SO I GAVE THEM BACK THEIR TRUCK AND KEPT MY ... read more

Terrible – Purchasing a car from the car auction which they brought to sell. After purchasing the car started to drive away and the car slamed hard in every gear change. This was something that they had to have known was a problem and once confronted they acted as if it was a surprise to them and had their mechanic take it for a ride. He new less them my poor daughter who I bought the car for when it came to car problems. He blew smoke up my you know what and gave me some bull that wasn't even close to being the problem. never will return here – never will return to this place again! kelly was a good sales person and since she is no longer there the customer service sucks! i tried to trade my car with them for another car and they are too busy to even return a phone call!! i will be going else where

what a great bunch of fellows – couldn't have bought a nicer car at a better price than from Mr. Cooks, Tony and the guys are great! would highly recommend them to anyone!

A Disaster!!! – I purchased a truck from them in Dec of 2008, by feb of 09 i had sunk apprx 2500 dollars into this hunk of junk... The fluids in the truck were ass backward. There was oil in the tran fluid, and tran fluid in the oil. The coolant in the radiator was water! Stay away, far far away!

the worst car lot ever – i have a car from this place and let me tell you something.the car was a lemon matter of fact a lime the con man that work here should be fierd and they no who im talking about.my car has been in the shop more than i drive it im 3000 in the hole with this car. so if your looking for a car this is not the place.oh yeah the finance is easy but for the bull-sh#$t you go through later with your car its not worth it so stay away from this place.thanks guys for the bmw are should i say thanks for the lemon... read more
