Summer was amazing in helping me to relax during a fantastic massage! I've been to the spa a few times now & have enjoyed everything! One of these days I will plan a "staycation" with my hubby at the resort!
My room was nice and clean and the staff is friendly, however this whole place felt more like a hotel with a pool than a resort. At 7 pm the hotel bar was closed, the pool bar was closed, and the sauna was closed. I bought a beer from the shop by the front door since the bars were closed, but the beer wasn't cold! Why am I paying resort fees when I don't get to enjoy any of the "resort" amenities? I'm here for my honeymoon and it's kind of disappointing.
It was my first time in Austin and looked forward to staying at Lakeway. Loved the area and it overlooking Lake Travis. Beautiful resort, very comfortable rooms and beds, and a great pool area. We enjoyed the pool with swim up bar, maybe a little too much. Lol. Thank you for a great vacation. Can't wait to come back.
Staff is awesome, rooms are awesome, balcany view is awesome, pools (5 of them) are awesome. Everything is awesome.
First time here. Got in today and we are having a blast! Hotel is great! Nice, clean rooms, very comfortable. We have a room with a balcony and a beautiful view of Lake Travis! Pool area is Awesome and clean! The kids loved the water slide! We loved that there are different pools on property, kids area pool (we were at the kids area most of the time), a younger adult area, and a third area that has a food bar next to the pool. My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary with the kids. It was very relaxing, the pool was great, and the staff was very friendly. We loved the view and even saw deer from our balcony! We will definitely be back for more family getaways.
Loved the hotel. Just wish they would open the slide so the kids could enjoy it before checkout time!!!!
