The doctor came in after the nurses did labs just to tell me that they can’t find anything wrong for both I and my son. He did not do anything! Yet I received bills in the mail totaling over $2,500 just for the physician fees when he didn’t do NOTHING AT ALL. I’ve been to other hospitals where the doctors actually do some work and counsel their patients. Had he actually done something I would not have been so perturbed when these inflated statements came! Went through Lakeview's ED last Saturday night with a dislocated shoulder. Dr Benton, Wayne, Kirby,and the rest of the ED crew were outstanding, professional, very understanding and accommodating. No greater staff, everyone was wonderful.
I had an awful experience today in the radiology department that does ultrasounds and mammograms. The mammo tech was rough and not very understanding of the pain I was currently having and the ultrasound tech was rude. I was sent there by my MD to have an ultrasound. When I got there was told I could not have an ultrasound without a mammogram first. The ultrasound tech did not check my complete left breast only a few spots. I have been hospitalized at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington LA four times since January 2017. The first three hospitalizations were satisfactory for the most part. The last hospitalization from May 20, 2019 - May 24, 2019 was a nightmare. Never never never again!
This has been my husbands fourth visit here since the beginning of March, and I cannot begin to express the gratitude we have for the staff of LRMC. From the moment we enter the building we are treated with such professionalism, respect, and genuine helpfulness from everyone we encounter! If you have to be sick, this is the best possible place to be.
I recently went there and the er dr was extremely rude
