Updated equipment. Very quick service. People who really care. They took care of my daughter and did a great job. I used to live in Slidell and refused to use any hospital in the town. I have driven past St. Tammany hospital to use Lakeview when I lived in Covington.
5+----My mother was in ICU on the 2nd floor, for about 2 weeks !! Phenomenal staff of nurses. Very attentive and comforting. Knowledgeable in their job at maintaining a heart patient. We appreciate all they did for her !! She is getting better and better each day !!! The hospital even has a concierge, very impressive ! Over the top care !!! Thanks sooo very much !!
Dr. Ok nurses some good some don't act like they care that much. Some of the CNA people where ok but some treat you like they really don't want to be there at all. Food needs improvement.
I went yesterday for my 3rd heart ablation. I only have one arm to try and find an IV site. After 8 tries, they were trying to get the Radiologist Nurse to do it but she was tied up for 2 or more hours. Everyone was extremely nice and understanding. I am a very hard stick and limited to that arm because of a mastectomy 3 years ago. I will be going back because Dr. Kanagala is wonderful, caring and awesome. I left but will make another surgery date.
