I started at Hollis in October for radiation therapy. Dr Shevach was my doctor. The reception/check-in ladies were very pleasant along with, Valerie and the young man that would call me back for my treatment but those were it! As far as anyone else other than the ones mentioned, were not the most comfortable or pleasant to be around. People go there because of health issues like cancer.. life changing and altering illness and disease but these people don’t give a crap. This is the worst place. I wait sometimes an hour just to get two injections for Osteoporosis. Today it took them almost an hour just to check me in.Now I will have to wait another hour for the pharmacy to send up the medication. The ladies at the receptionist desk are so unorganized. When I went to the front desk to check why I wasn’t called up yet to check in after waiting almost an hour she tried to make it seem like I was checked in but I wasn’t. I didn’t even have a band yet. I was referred to hematology by my heart Dr. I was lucky to get Dr Imran Ahmad. He has the best bedside manner, Acts like a real human, and cares for his patients. I wish he was a primary Dr.. I don't get to see him again and I'm thankful and humbled. Believe me, but they are so lucky to have him on their team. Very nice guy!! Good looking too. 😉
For Dr. Haider this pretty much sums up his thoughts if you don't do exactly what he wants (cancer treatment), and instead would prefer a better quality of life even if for a shorter lifespan.
