We are having a great time, any problems they had at the beginning seem to be cleared up, the KOA is working to make this a great place to visit.
Memorial weekend packed in like cattle, a green pool,trash everywhere,no water at times when you need it the most,nobody to clean the bathrooms.it would be good if I was a MUTANT TEENAGE TURTLE.
The front desk was less than helpful. The office stunk like something I've never smelled and don't want to again. The bathrooms were horrid! (Pics to follow). Lots of standing water, not good heading into mosquito season. On a positive note the campground is large and good spacing of seasonal site. Pond is clean. Still waiting to see yellow shirts riding around and bring me my wood!!
My mom used to bring us to Lake Laurie a few times a year. We used to stay 2 - 3 weeks during the summer and I will have to say it was by far my fondest memory of my early teenage years. I can remember having a blast in the pool, lake and game room during the day and then getting all dressed up to attend the Friday night dance, boy how we thought we were all that. Awesome campground. Very friendly staff and outstanding seasonal campers. Everything is clean from the showers, bathroom, pool and the lake.
