DISGUSTINGLY dirty over the Forth of July weekend, Human Feces and BLOOD found on the floors in the bathrooms and showers, on separate multiple occasions, when we approached the staff to clean it up properly, no shock or urgency to clean it up was taken after hours of it being there! After all Of that, the waste was not even cleaned up properly, with remnants of the waste still in the shower areas. Would NEVER recommend this KOA and I doubt we'll be staying here again! Won't be back. Booked a month ago and wouldn't give us a site #. Didn't know where we were staying unit we got down there. No cable or sewer. It's a game and I don't want to waste my hard earned money!!!! Ocean View is a much better place....!!! KOA� internet sucks too.
We stayed there this weekend in a cabin/park model. It was close to Wildwood for beach blast (soccer tourney) and way cheaper. We were convinced that our unit had never been slept in. It was clean and awesome. The only issue was the bed in the master was rather uncomfortable. Park was clean and the lake was really nice. Since there are 4 of us, the boy and I use the bath house, which was clean and free. The staff was very friendly accommodating. Lots of construction going on, but I see the improvements as a plus. This is new to KOA, and they are trying to clean up what was an old, out-of-date campground. Still a ways to go, but our short term area was clean and well maintained, pool was nice, lake was good for swimming and fishing. Lots of old run down park models that distract from the rest of the park. Price was best in the Cape May area, which is why we chose to try this for 4 days. Might consider going back.
The employees are awesome. Always around to help. Since koa took over the place is clean. The main pull through sites in the front are packed and it makes the place look top notch! A lot of improvements and the place looks great. Hopefully the activities will get better. That's the only complaint. More "adult" activities would be awesome. Use the rec center for some adult drinking and partying activities. Keep up the good work!
Everything was great except there wasn't enough bathhouse! I have a problem walking to far and the bathhouse was a country mile away!
We had a family get together. We all loved it! Had a great time! And the kids had a blast
