Have been a patient there 3 times since last November including a stay in ICU. ER care was quick efficient and top notch both times. In hospital care was excellent, nurses and doctors took the time to listen to me and explain all care and procedures. I felt very confident and comfortable with the care and respect I received at Lake Huron Medical.
DO NOT recommend this at all!!
This ER cares only of one issue if you come in with 3 or 4 they will only try to help with one issue. The fast food of ER. Btw I asked for results they wouldn't even give me that from the last time I was here.

As a new hire with many years in the medical field I find LHMC and the new CEO' s vision for this well established facility, very personable and inspiring. It goes to show that caring for "all" at LHMC will open the doors to the "best patient care" and allow the facility grow in the "right" direction for the entire community. I am proud to be apart of this vision.
My dad was up there for about a week and his care was very poor, staff didn't dispense his meds correctly, trying to give him blood sugar medicine (which should be given with food) hours after his meals, not giving him his pain medicine every 4hours as prescribed, but every 6. One of the days I visited I was there almost 3hours without seeing a single staff member, and I walked through the hospital without being stopped by staff with my dog *she's licensed and able to be in the hospital* but it makes me consider the what ifs... read more
