My husband was referred to Dr Walczk; however his first visit was with Tamara the nurse practitioner. We both went in, at my husband's request. I have dealt with diabetes longer than he has so he wanted me to be present.. She was belittling, rude, and negative. We will be looking for another practice. She treated us as if we were children and basically demeaned us because my husband's blood sugar a1c was high and we were having trouble controlling it with diet.
