If you are looking for a place to walk and ride your bike this is not the place! They have no side walks for bikes and as far as oralndo is concerned bikers can ride in traffic. This is disgraceful for the amount of people that live in Orlando and ride their bikes for a healthy activity. Lake Eola is only for people looking to lounge.

Yes, but no. If the lake was cleaner & the workers took their job serious maybe the park would be much cleaner. The water in the pond & the lake have so much trash. Why isn’t this getting cleaned? Why do I see baby turtles nipping at trash? Why isnt there anyone checking on the restrooms, because they ALWAYS stink. The park has so much potential.
Beautiful park surrounded by a lake with lots of large friendly white ducks and turtles.i can hear a little jazz beginning to play a distance away as the sun began to set. enjoying the afternoon,relaxing and watching the kids have fun.

Lake Eola is the city of Orlando icon. It’s on tourism. It is downtown in the outskirts of the city. It has a water fountain in the middle that changes colors at dusk. It also has a band shell that is painted the rainbow 🌈 representing the culture of Orlando that is LBGTQ friendly. The park is used mostly in the fall and spring for festivals.
