My 5 day stay there was a good one. The nursing staff was great.
I can't say enough good things about their outpatient surgery department and Dr. Trawick! Other hospitals could learn a thing or two from these guys! Fabulous!!!!
Shout Out To My RN Mr. Dan He Is One Of Those Registered Nurses That Always Make Sure I'm Straight Before I Lay My Head He Also Come Thru With The Popcorn Just In Time For Family GuyMr. Dan Deserves A Special Reward Because He Does The Up Most Every Time I Visit Lafayette General. So If The Supervisor Or Manager Is Reading This Give This Man A Special Reward He Is The Reason I Continue To Come To Lafayette General When I Have A SC Crisis. I recently visited the Lafayette General Emergency Department which resulted in a 2 night hospital stay. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE, from the clerk in the ED to the physicians on the floor were the nicest, most polite people I have ever encountered in a hospital setting. The Doctors to dietary, to nurses and custodial staff were all super friendly and helpful. Thank you for being the BEST hospital in Lafayette <3
I took my bf to the ER because of an spider bite,symptoms gotten so bad news barley could walk or lift arms!told them it was possible a black widow and it was right by his neck!we didn't even waited 2 minutes just being greeted by 6 nurses,the 2 on the computer,were barley looking at my bf,the 1 doc nurse what ever she was,was so rude and disrespectful I will never ever step a foot in this hospital,she not just only had the nerve to tell my bf,there is nothing she can do,but also when I explained how much he is in pain I had... read more
I was there for an out patient procedure and they were doing construction in the rooms on that floor. Needless to say I ended up with a migraine before they moved me to surgery. The staff was awesome.......they brought us ear plugs. Fumnny thing is when you get off the eleator, there is a sign with an adorable little girl with her finger to her lips and read: Please be quiet, we have patients!
My dad had a major operation last week. His planned stay post-op is 5-7 days. The operating doctor, the nurses, all the staff we've encountered down to cafeteria and the people who clean the rooms have been more than awesome! We have had a pleasant experience there to say the least. They have asked many times if the family needed anything after tending to my dad, which to me they don't even have to do. Horrible broke my ankle and the pins that the used weren't sterile and the doctor that did my sugery even told me that they weren't sterile if I ever break another bone I'll go to Our Lady of Lourdes.
