Mother went in for a fem to fem bypass to give circulation to her left leg. Now right foot had no pulse. Doctor stayed that's ok her legs are warm. Mother received pressure wounds to both heels that are unstageable due to do bad because Nurses/staff did not keep her legs elevated. Received a very bad bed sores because staff inadequately cared for her. All cuts made by doctor infected due to not cleaning properly. Mother is worse shape than ever. We have cared for her at home 3 yrs and never did she receive any bed sores but ... read more
Really it's not Lafeyette Generals fault. I hate that my wife is in here.
I visited the ER in excruciating pain. I asked the guy at the front desk if they had all of my information and handed him my ID. He handed it back and said that all of my information was in the system. I proceeded to triage where I told the nurse how bad I was in pain. After that I got put in the waiting room. About an hour and a half passes when the X-ray tech came and got me to do X-rays after I told them that my pain wasn't coming from any type of bone fracture. It was from a muscle or nerve.
