I do recommend Labcorp as a company but I do not recommend the Beaumont location. I just heard the stupidest response from a medical professional that I have ever heard. Went to this Labcorp and while standing at the reception desk I noticed the receptionist/nurse and the nurse drawing blood were not wearing masks. Labcorp in the LifeBridge in Pikesville, MD should be ashamed of themselves. Not only was the place disgusting- the staffs’ attitudes were worse! I had an appointment- arrived 15 minutes early like they stated and did a mobile check in. They made me wait in the hallway because the had a 3 people capacity which two were their staff so basically only one patient in at a time. Went to my appointment today and after waiting 15 minutes I was told the computers were down and I needed a paper script. I lost an hour of work only to have to make another appointment and miss more work. If my insurer gave me a choice I’d go somewhere else for my lab work. Here’s an idea Labcorp get a more stable computer system for your offices and given you have my email address and phone number have someone call or text to inform me that I need a paper script or should reschedule.
Always a terrible experience at LabCorp New Rochelle, NY. The staff is very condescending, giving the impression that they hate their job! Just walked in to a waiting room full of people, mind you, their door posts “7 people max capacity.” We are in the middle of a pandemic and no regard for capacity. Express check-in is a disaster for the elderly who don’t know how to work the touch screen. Needless to say, I will never come back with my 78yr old mother, who’s health is high-risk!
