First, it is irresponsible for the owner to say that he cannot know identifying info about some of his customers. Also, his statements indicate that being gay is a choice. It is not -- and the associations of psychologists & psychiatrists have long held positions in that regard. It would have been better if the owner made no statements, given that by speaking out he only made matters worse.
