frustrating and bizarre experience – My experience with this spa is nothing short of frustrating. Despite setting appointments for two pedicures on a Saturday morning, and receiving a confirmation call a day or two before the appointment, my colleague and I found ourselves appointment-less before 9a. Extremely pleased! – Last year I bought my wife a gift certificate to this spa for Christmas. She just got around to using it recently and said she couldn't believe she waited so long. She came home raving about the sauna and massage she received. I definitely know what I'm getting her again this year!
fun, relaxing spa environment – I went to La Therapie on the recommendation of a friend for a massage, and my friend was not wrong. I had a very relaxing sit in the sauna after being helped upon entering, and also some tea and refreshments while I waited. Manly nail treatment found here – My girlfriend made me go and have a spa day with her. I was suprised to find that this spa had a manicure and pedicure that I actually was ok with getting. There was a few jokes made at my expense(all in good fun)--by my girlfriend about what polish color I wanted...but overall the hand massage was good and I liked the way my feet felt after the pedicure.
Recommend this new massage – I am a runner and have been going to get massages for awhile now. Last time I tried something new called the Zen Shiatsu. I was told Todd is the only one here that does this massage, and it was very good. It was different because it was done fully clothed, on a futon mat, on the floor. I felt Todd really helped me "un-kink" my legs by stretching me. I was skeptic at first but the next day I felt so focused and relaxed I couldn't help but be convinced.
Better than Microdermabrasion! – I usually see Courtney here and she recommended I try something new-epidermal leveling. It was quick and pain free. I liked it better than my past microderms because it got rid of all that "baby fuzz" hair on my face. After we got rid of that dead skin( and there was a lot!) she applied the Pomegranate Peel. I left feeling like I was glowing!
Best scents ever – This spa carries a lot of candles but by far my favorites are the Votivo Holiday candles. They had one burning at the desk when I went to check out the other day....and man was I hooked! I felt like I was standing in a real Christmas tree forest! They have a few other scents but the Christmas Sage is #1 with me. The receptionist even offered to wrap it up for me--for free! That was one less Christmas gift I had to worry about thanks to the nice staff here!
love the manicure! – i got a gift certificate for a get fresh manicure/pedicure from la therapie recently... i was honestly surprised at the luxury received for this! (a lot different than the nail places at the mall). the treatment really had a lot... good smelling scrub, warm parafin, and even a mud mask on my feet! i felt great when i left -- my technician was very cool. overall an awesome experience
