Best Italian food I’ve had in a long time since we moved to the Phoenix area. The owner even gave us a shot of cognac after our meal!! Will definitely go back if we are in Chicago area again.

My wife and stop in here for dinner after getting recommendation from a friend. The food was awesome and the service was even better. The owner was extremely friendly and very funny. My wife told our waiter to just order for her because she couldn't decide. She had the veal and it was tasty. Also everything was well priced. I Highly recommend this place. We will be back for sure.
Had a wonderful dinner last night! I was with a group of 8 friends and was worried about a wait time. I had been to LaScarola in the past and knew there could be a wait. However I was completely wrong! We walked in and were seated immediately. I had made a reservation 2 weeks prior which was probably helpful. The food was amazing! Best fried calamari ever! Fantastic service that’s attentive but not over the top. Thank you to the staff for another unforgettable meal!
Been following Joey & Armando around for 25 years & went to La Scarola the first day it opened . To me its the best restaurant in Chicago. I've brought many people there over the years & never has anyone not love it . I've never had a bad meal & will continue to enjoy it as long I can...
