I know nothing that is greater than La Scarola, but I cannot eat there too often. It affects ones nerves, and makes one want to say kind, beautiful things about meatballs, and stroke the heads of those who, working so hard in the kitchen, can create such perfect penne ala vodka.

This was great Italian. Four people, four plates, each so good we were happy with our own selection & would have been happy with any of the others. Places like this are so rare these days. Everyone was smiling. Everyone was enjoying the meal & the company. The charm of a special place can do that. Come see.
I got a recommendation for this restaurant from a friend, thought it would be a great place for my Italian papa's( dad ) 80th birthday. I called in advance to make reservations, and let them know it was for a special Birthday. We were seated right away , even being 10 minutes late, great start. The food was really hearty and good. Had a wonderful meal, everything was fresh and very tasty. The wait service was excellent. Nice atmosphere but very busy. We used valet parking and didn't have to worry. will definitely go back
