This hotel is definitely in need of work. The tub had what appeared to be a rust stain at the bottom, and it needed to be recaulked. There was no stopper for the tub. The faucet on the sink needed to be recaulked. There was no soap in the tub (luckily, we brought our own). The phone in the room was old and dusty. The wall had a gash in it that needed some putty and paint. We requested extra face towels, and they didn't have any. We also had issues communicating with the staff as their English was limited. I recently stayed at LaQuinta during a family emergency, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Upon our late arrival (after 8 PM) with my six-year-old granddaughter, we quickly settled in and got ready for bed. However, when we tried to use the bathroom, we discovered that it was clogged. I called the front desk for assistance, and they informed me that I would need to unplug it myself, as the plunger was with another guest.
