Great View, Horrible restaurant – I went to this restaurant with some friends because it had a nice view and it looked good. Little did we know what we getting ourselves into. We were greeted by a host that looked like a pimp, who just went clubbing or was about to go, at the top of the stairs. No professionalism at all! He was rude an a bit unaccomidating. WASTE! – I went today with some friends and the service was beyond horrible! From the moment we sat down to the moment we left, all we got was slow service, attitude and lousy food. The only reason the place survives is b/c it is such a high traffic location. When the host sat us down she rolled her eyes at me and gave me a "look" when I asked if we could sit eleswhere. waste of money – a good way to get hosed eating at the grove. its expensive for what it is. if you want to have a conversation with the people you came to dinner with you can forget about it. whoever designed the restaurant went more for the disneyland las vegas look of it then the acoustics. Just Average – After reading the 2 negative reviews on this site, we decided to still give it a chance, as it always looked good when shopping at the grove. And it wasnt bad, Service was ok, we went on a Sunday and the restaurant was near empty, but we still only got adecuate service. The food however was great, very tasty and fresh. Disappointing – I went with a couple of friends for lunch on a weekend. We were seated immediately and our server took our orders promptly but it just went downhill from there. Our salad was served quickly but our entrees took a looong time and we each ordered a basic pasta dish. We started noticing the other tables, who arrived after us, get served first. After at least 45 minutes, our food finally arrived and it was just disappointing--bland at best and overpriced!
Terrible Service!!! – I've eaten here twice, food was good both times, but the second time, the service was non-existant and the management rude! After our appetizers, we waited for 45 minutes and then the waiter brought the bill before ever bringing our dinner. When he realized we hadn't eaten yet, it took another 30 minutes to get our food! When I told the manager what happened, he didn't even apologize!
