RecommendedDefinitely try this place. Just had the Pollo Asado, a 1/2 chicken marinated wine sauce, with potatoes and mixed vegetables. That was about the best meal in long time. Meat was fall of the bone tender, tons of flavor and not of the typical greasy burrito type.

had the special poblano peppers stuffed with raisins apples peaches and ground beef covered with a sweet white sauce with ground nuts in it. I would not have ordered it off the menu simply took the advice of Hector
first time at La Palapa, very nice and clean and everyone so nice, then we heard someone say Hey guys ..... lo and behold we see Melei come in to bartend we havent seen her since March , we lost touch but so glad we found her and will come back often she is the best and we highly enjoyed the authentic food so good especially the Pozole!!!
Amazing beef tongue tacos!
Very authentic Mexican food with a coastal twist. Delicious. Better beer selection than most Mexican restaurants, and lots of Mezcal and tequila options. And every other Sunday there is a Mariachi band.
The food was awesome and the manager came over to talk to us and was so personable and really made our visit. Highly recommend!
