Ordered for delivery to our hotel. The tacos are too spicy when we ordered regular, the meatballs are burnt in the meatball parmigiano, the fries look like someone puked on them. Worst place we ever had anything from.
The manager has no customer service skills whatsoever. This was only my 2nd time ordering from La Nova and they completely messed up my order. When I called to speak to the manager about it, he was rude and nasty and refused to refund part of my order or give me a store credit. Needless to say, I paid for food that wasn't eaten, and this will be the LAST time I place an order with you.
I normally don't complain about food or restaurants. Ever. But last night I went to the absolute WORST restaurant in all of Western NY. Raw fish! I told my waitress the fish was raw and she said, "I'm sorry its not warm. Would you like me to heat it up for you?" She totally missed it. She didn't offer a new piece. And how do you make a fish fry good by heating it in a microwave? I lost my taste for it and kindly said no thankyou. Nothing off the bill, just two cookies with another apology that the fish was cold. Never an offer to substitute it with something else.
Terrible – I use to be a very loyal customer of La Nova. Although I had some bad experiences, with the people answering the phone, I let it go. I had my final straw, I called and ordered, while being talked to very rudely and abrubtly. A friend was going to be picking up the pizza so I informed la nova phone person that I wanted to pay for it on the phone with credit card, she said "pay for it when you come in", i then explained to her that I didn't want the person picking it up to pay.
