LaMex is an Anchorage Icon. I've been going to this restaurant for over 40 years.The Delicious food is always made with fresh ingredients and the service is excellent. LaMex chips are made right here in Anchorage as well as their wonderfully zesty salsa. Appetizers are 1/2 price 4-6pm daily. Dimond LaMex off King street has over 132 varieties of Tequila. Worst costomer service I have ever seen, we were seated waited 20 minutes, no water no food no waitress no nothing, the waitress was told we were there she walked by us 5 times never even acknowledged us, there was only about q10 people in the restaurant, never ever go there
