Beautiful room, except for the first three days, the stench from the washed up seaweed was horrendous. I guess you have to have a beach wedding for them to get it all cleaned up. Housekeeping was sparatic. We had to call three times in the week to have someone clean our room. Then got attitude because they showed up in 5 minutes and we weren't ready to leave just yet. Really nice location right on the beach, you literally leave and step out onto the beach. The breakfast is delicious with made to order omelets, with potatoes, sausage or bacon, and another side (waffles, pancakes, or French toast), plus other buffet options. All of the amenities of the Southernmost resort are available to La Mer and Dewey House guests, including the pools, activities, and fitness center. Had a very nice breakfast, I had an omlett prepared by Mike. Anne Marie, the hostess, aka the manager was delightful.
