This is the worst company. They make it nearly impossible to cancel your account if you don’t want to be a member anymore. Also their gyms are not very clean, I’ve seen bugs in most of the locations I've visited in LA. And their Sauna’s are frequently broken.

I wish I could leave less than one star. I have reached out to them several times. They have longer wait times then the unemployment office. I have explained I do not have the money for the membership. I had my credit card Locked. I tried to go into the Sanford location to simply down grade my membership. I am so tired of doing the run around. Everyone puts off the issues.

Upon reopening this companies procedures are egregious and put together with no senes. I had the police threatened to be called on me for the employee not checking my temperature. I was harassed for the staffs poor work. Disgusting verbally abusive language was used towards me. Companies should be subject to notifying their clients about how and if this information is being used or sold. The gym is fantastic and this review is only regarding the management and sales. When we originally signed up for our membership my wife was about 60 days away from a major surgery. Knowing this, we wanted to get her into a gym routine that allowed her to ease back into the regimen when she recovered. We signed up for a monthly basis but added on 4 personal trainer sessions for her which she agreed to take before surgery. Personal Training: I was told that I could accumulate person training sessions and use them perpetually. At no time was I told that I had to use them otherwise if they rolled over month to month I would still have to remain on a training contract for Atleast one training session per month to continue keeping the rolled over sessions. I had over 15-20 sessions in the bank. Inflexible with an unprecedented global pandemic. It's unforgivable that they refuse to return my annual fee after canceling and everyone just tells me to contact the operations manager and then corporate, rinse, repeat. There is no accountability and the structure of this company is a horrible inflexible mess. During such a trying time, I found no comfort in their customer service and no understanding from them what so ever. I joined their gym in Feb right before COVID hit and they shut down, and havent been back since due to covid. I have been charged $545 to use their facility 2 times since joining. Never sign up for this gym, not even remotely worth it. Good ol corporate company doing business as usual. Scammers!!!! When I joined the gym, I also hired a personal trainer for 6 months. Due to my gym closure, I couldn't finish my 6 months training. I was already charged for all my 6 months training however still almost 2 months of my training is left, which worth's about $500. Which due to Covid and Gym closure I couldn't continue. What can I say, I tried all month to get my money refunded to my account for membership dues taken out. Wendy and Skylar have been little to no help at the LA Fitness here in Melbourne Fl at Lake Washington and Wickham. I told Skylar in the middle of May that my wife and I would not be coming to the gym in June, she said that she would place a courtesy hold at no charge.
