Hi,I wanted to make you all aware of the awful attitude of the manager at the *********** Esporta fitness location. I have tried for a couple of months to cancel my membership. With my busy schedule I have dropped in at different times only to be told the manger is the only person who can cancel and is either not in or on a call. I signed up for a personal training contract and was ensured by their sales rep that it is month to month, and I can cancel if it is not the right move for me. The contract allows 3 days to cancel, yet the sales rep assigned me to a trainer that was not available for 3 weeks after signing up; therefore, I could not evaluate. Horrible cancellation policy. Deceptive business practices. You should allow customers to cancel by phone, text, email. Having a customer come to the gym to cancel a plan if there is no contract is very shady. You can confirm identity by last 4 digits of card used last 4 of license #, last ssn# etc by phone. Never again!

My elderly father was happy I purchased him a membership at this location to regain his health. They convinced him to buy a weekly training package. They consistently canceled his sessions due to a lack of staff to the point he was behind 25 sessions in 6M. They fired and changed trainers like you change underwear. They did not give him a booklet as promised until 6 months. Had 0 check-ins and most trainers sat on their phones and did nothing. The ones who did leave or were fired. I dont even want to give one star. I am trying to cancel my membership and they keep saying only the manager can do it and she is OFF, seriously. No one else can do it. While signing up and taking money anyone can take it, at anytime even when they have a minute to close. But when you try to cancel they speak all the rules saying she is not here, I should call before coming, etc, seriously a rip off organization. NEVER EVER GO TO THEM EVEN THEY GIVE IT for FREE. This LA Fitness is downright disgusting. The management appears to be completely inept, letting the facilities deteriorate to such a deplorable state. The gym's lack of cleanliness is beyond anything I've ever encountered, and it's genuinely concerning. I've had conversations with other members in the sauna and locker rooms who've contracted foot infections, and it's evident that this stems from the nauseatingly unclean conditions in the sauna and shower areas. I love L A Fitness at **** **********! *******, *****. ********** in this place is sooo contagious! It is always filled with people that I can tell were once great athletes! and still are ! I'm wondering how the business has an A+ rating? When so many customers are un satisfied enough to pursue action through a 3rd party and still are un able to find resolution.
