5/19/22 was a horrible day for me at ***************** in *******. I attend this location 5-6x a week along with my two little ones who adore kidz klub. Watch out for the upsell when getting a membership. Rules are loosely explained and strictly enforced.Impossible to get in touch with someone to make changes to your membership. Local club tells me to call corporate office. When I go to corporate website it pushes me back to local club.

It *****, I opened an LA fitness membership on Feb 18, 2022, at *****************************************************************************************, I went there for swimming, and the pool was always closed, and then I canceled my membership at the front desk just 3 days membership, the girl at the front desk did something in her computer and told me you are all set, your membership is canceled.Then I just back home and ever not go there any more, because I thought my membership has been canceled, I am not member there... read more

I was harassed by a male member of the gym I formerly attended. LA Fitness in ************ on Valley View. This incident happened at around 9:30pm PT on Wednesday May 4th. I confronted the individual for what I felt was unsolicited and inappropriate behavior-- i felt that he had been following me around at the gym. I am disappointed by the management and staff of this gym. I mainly joined this gym due to its ******* **** location. When touring this gym, ***** never disclose that the ******* **** location would be unavailable in 2 months, nor did he chose to disclose there $30 cancellation policy. I've called multiple times to cancel my membership but I was continuously told that I either had to mail in a form or come into the gym to cancel it. After signing up with a personal trainer they did not properly explain to me how I was going to be billed and was forced to pay 50% of the contract to cancel it they use shady business practices and trick people out of their time and money I do not recommend this gym unless you want to give your soul to the devil.

I initially wanted to sign up with this place but the manager turned me off. I used a day pass to test trial this gym and enjoyed it. I was then spammed multiple times daily to join by the manager, ****** I did request more information to see about setting up a membership but he failed to follow through and I was no longer interested. Horrible business model and zero integrity to there services they offer. Their sales person sold me 12 personal training sessions for some "holiday special" they were running and told me that they were on my account forever and I could use at my discretion. Between a lifting injury and the only competent trainer at the location being available, about 5 months go by with 8 sessions still to go on my account. I wasn't ever entirely happy with LA Fitness/Esporta in ************************************, as the facility always seemed a little dirty. However, it had the only lap pool nearby, so I put up with my minor distaste for the place. When I went to cancel my membership, my grumbles turned to disgust: 1.
