Very frustrated with La Fitness. I have gone multiple times to cancel, before they charge me for another month. Every time they said they didn't have someone there or it was too late to do it. The last time I called ahead of time to make sure they were still open and that there was someone there to help me out. They said yes there was someone there and they were open today (Monday), tomorrow Tuesday 17th they would be closing due to the virus. 20 mins later, I took MY LUNCH break to go there and get it done. I'm extremely concerned that this LA Fitness DOES NOT have any hand sanitizers in a time of covid-19. When I pointed out to the manager to refill the containers, he just shrugged of and replied that there is no hand sanitizers available in Orlando! He doesn't seem to understand that the public is at risk of transmitting and acquiring this virus due to poor sanitation at this facility. The reason I gave it a two, this is for HIIT classes that are offered by LA Fitness on Arlington. HIIT classes are awesome, easy to follow. HIIT classes were just implemented two months ago. I was a Orangetheory Fitness member for almost two years before signing up for HIIT classes. My comments mentioned are very valid. I contacted LA Fitness Several times to recommend safety guidelines during attending HIIT classes, none taken action as of now to prevent precautionary measures due to coronavirus. I attend the LA Fitness in Lake Elsinore, CA. Unfortunately this location lacks cleanliness in the womens bathroom/locker room. The facility is usually short on paper towels & soap sanitizer in the common areas making it difficult to wipe down machines before and after use. I brought this issue up to employees on several occasions and due to the lack of action have not attended in over a week due to coronavirus issue. Hi, I would like to know what policies or action plan does L.A Fitness has in regard to coronavirus. Competitor gyms are offering wipes, hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray to wipe down equipment after use. We currently have a water base soap and paper towels. The soap container is fill more with water than soap. Would be nice to have several sanitization stations thru the gym. Can you please look into this issue? So due to inconveniences with my regular fitness location which is FREE I shopped around for a guest pass at local facilities. LA fitness was offering the free 5 day guest pass. Well first of before you even get to "try it out" they put you through the torment of a sales person who openly tries to sell you a membership repeatedly. I was not only annoyed by the fact that he wasted the time I had allotted to get a good workout in after work, but he was openly making up membership rates with each declination I made. Le-sigh. It’s imperative that the public is aware that this location condones sexual harassment and violence to propagate in their gym and remain everlasting. I am a new member to this location since relocating from a different city but have been a member of LA for over a year total. If zero stars was an option....I was a member of this gym when it first opened and I remember seeing staff cleaning around machines while I was working out, but now it appears that nothing has been cleaned since that time. The entire gym is a health hazard. The amount of Body hair and dirt built up around each treadmill and elliptical is unacceptable and unsanitary including the bathroom conditions with mold and broken walls.
