Excellent Steak and Service – The service and steak here is the best I've had in Michigan. I am very picky about my steak and they always get it right the first time. The service staff is also excellent. I never had to ask for something that was obvious. They kept close tabs on the progress of the dinner without being intrusive.
Best Servive ever. – Yes I went at the restaurant 2 months ago and for my wifes birthday. It was the most wonderful experience i ever had. I was amazed by the service as soon as I enterd the door. Th hostess was very nice. Our waiter wich I think his name was Olzi was fabulos he was just great. The bussing staff was great you could see those guys just husseling to seat the people as soon as posible and get those tables cleared. I would recomend it to everyone. Thank you for making my wife happy.
Where's The Beef – I have been to the resaurants that have been rated and this by far has the best steak I have ever had, It is not a real expensive restaurant but it is very elegant and the service is wonderful. I felt very comfortable there. I can't wait to go back.
Beef Hype – I found the steaks here good but very expensive. They told me that they were the only restaurant in the country serving exclusively piedmont beef. I find this hard to believe. The service was very good but the rest of my experience was average. I have had better steaks elsewhere.
What's the deal – I had a terrible time here. Maybe it was just one of those nights but based on my experience, I just can't envision going back. Too many things went wrong. Very expensive too.
No Big Deal – After all the hype they gave me about their "special exclusive beef" I was underimpressed. The steak was good but I've had just as good steaks elsewhere for much less money. The rest of the food was just O.K.
Over Rated – Way over rated is the best description. Based on the reviews posted here, They must be from employee's working at La Bisteca. Food is over priced and seems to be just ingredients thrown together.
Best steak in Detroit – I moved here from San Francisco and imagine my disappointment when I looked upon this unimpressive little suburban restaurant that we were supposed to go to for my birthday. But inside! The best steak I think I have ever eaten (Piedmontese New York Steak). I've had it half a dozen times since! Good place for a romantic dinner and I take business clients here too. Add the fact that it has a (separate) cigar-friendly bar and you have the best steak place in the area!
