Great for a date... – Fabulous restaurant! Even though I wasn't in the mood for steak, the server said that if it was my first time there, that the filet was a "must". She was right! Most delicious tender steak I've ever eaten! Try the portabello mushroom appetizer. Great place to go for a quiet romantic evening.
Fantastic Atmosphere and Food – My girlfriends and I had a great time at this place. We hung out in the piano bar for a few hours before dinner and listened to live music- which is a great atmosphere. The dinner was wonderful and we couldn't say enough about our service. I would recommend trying this place (you'll need reservations if its a Fri or Sat). We were very pleased and intend to go back often.
Top Notch! – My wife and I had a wonderful time at this place. The food was spectacular and the service was excellent. It is a family run place that really cares about the customer. If you do ever have a problem just ask for the owner (if he hasn't come by the table already!) We were very pleased.
Highly Recommended! – The food is outstanding at this cozy, italian restaurant. It is a real find and well worth the money! The atmosphere was very friendly- we loved the service. Highly recommend trying this place out - it is very romantic. La Bistecca also has a piano bar with live entertainment making it a great place to gather with friends. You have to try the desserts!
Amazing Restaurant! – I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and romantic. The food is amazing. If you like steak I highly recommend the filet. It is a unique find -- different from the corporate restaurant atmosphere. The owner is always present and ready to ensure that every customer is completely satisfied. The service was the best we have ever had.
$40 + for a steak – I'm sorry but this is not the only restaurant in Michigan to serve piedmontese beef. My steak was way over cooked and my waitress did not even care, offering only a feeble apology. Thanks but No thanks. I was very embarrassed in front of my out of town clients after I had told them this was a highly reccomended place
Excellent Steak and Service – The service and steak here is the best I've had in Michigan. I am very picky about my steak and they always get it right the first time. The service staff is also excellent. I never had to ask for something that was obvious. They kept close tabs on the progress of the dinner without being intrusive.
Best Servive ever. – Yes I went at the restaurant 2 months ago and for my wifes birthday. It was the most wonderful experience i ever had. I was amazed by the service as soon as I enterd the door. Th hostess was very nice. Our waiter wich I think his name was Olzi was fabulos he was just great. The bussing staff was great you could see those guys just husseling to seat the people as soon as posible and get those tables cleared. I would recomend it to everyone. Thank you for making my wife happy.
Where's The Beef – I have been to the resaurants that have been rated and this by far has the best steak I have ever had, It is not a real expensive restaurant but it is very elegant and the service is wonderful. I felt very comfortable there. I can't wait to go back.
