L&M is a “jack of all trades” store. They do a lot of things very well, definitely beyond acceptable and good for the most part. But there’s little there that I’d say is “great”. Between seasons, the selections on things such as apparel are a bit lacking as well. I still love the Ashland store, because there are certainly things there I can’t find anywhere else for the price.
Girlfriend ordered and expensive gift for me from L&M and tried to ship to my house. Shipping and Billing address didn't match so Emily from L&M called her directly and left a message. She called back in less than an hour and confirmed with SOME GUY in that department who failed to register the call. 10 days later, no product and repeated calls only to be told she needs to call again. On the last call, I canceled the order and will take my business elsewhere in the future!

We did not have record of speaking with her which is why we asked to have her call us again to verify. At that time you chose to cancel your order which we immediately did for you. We hope you will give us another opportunity in the future.
I enjoy shopping at L&M as the employees are friendly and knowledgeable about the products. If I ask for assistance, I have not gotten a bum steer yet. Thank you L&M for the fine experiences my hubby and I have had in your Grand Rapids, MN store ♡
