FYI From 2 recent experiences Kwik Kar on Main Street/1171 is either intentionally dishonest or has inexperienced and bad mechanics working there. Today they informed me the brake fluid level was low so my car would not pass inspection. They wanted me to buy new brake pads to pass inspection, with the explanation this would increase the brake fluid. We took my daughters 2013 Mustang that has 80,000 miles to Kwik Kar in Flower Mound at 2212 Long Prairie Rd for a state inspection. It passed inspection, but they said the "rear diff pinion seal was leaking badly" and was very low on oil. They quoted me around $275 to fix the issue. I approved this work. When we picked up the car, the rear end was making awful noises when you turned corners. i took it back to Kwik Kar and they told us to drive it on the highway for 10 miles or so. RecommendedMost weekdays you can get in and out within a short time. They are always busy but usually get it done fast.. my state inspection took less than 15 minutes today and they had a full waiting room when i got there, and this on a Thursday! Definitely recommend!
I have utilized the services of Kwik Kat lube and auto repair, since they opened. I will say that since Albert arrived, the service and quality of the technicians has been greatly enhanced. They say what they do and do what they say. Also their prices beat the pants off any dealership services and are well qualified to work on the exotics, antiques and all in between.
They always treat me fairly, and I do know about cars, especially about my Jeep. Albert takes care of everything and can answer any questions. Love this place!
