For one the music is awesome, the bar is well stocked and if you are not a smoker, then great, because they allow spoking only in the patio or outside section. So you can freely breath in the air. KungFu Necktie hit the Philadelphia party scene with a bang and has since gained quite a mileage. Next time you're in the city be sure to check it out.

Don't be ashamed to drink from the "Shelf of Shame". $2 beers shouldn't be eschewed.
Everything but the urinals were built by hand. The booths are made from reused bowling alley wood. Even the stage is a do-it-yourselfer. Come for the beer, stay for the woodworking lesson.
The men's room urinal is mounted pretty high. Be careful you don't touch the tip...momma says you'll get thrush.

A Kung fu themed bar playing old school kung fu movies and serving some of the best beer in Philly. Plenty of metal shows are played on the bars intimate stage, which is nicely tucked away in the back
