RecommendedThe food was good, not excellent. Our chef, from the moment he got there, constantly complained about the staff. He did not play up to the kids at the table at all. Just a very poor attitude and it soured my entire evening. We may be back, so long as we do not have that chef.

It was the worst dinning experience I've ever had. I've eaten at Japanese steakhouses from coast to coast and never had a chef say more than two words. The chef at Kumos in North Port couldn't stop talking and what was coming out of his mouth was disgusting. Topics about bodily functions and his personal life. He never stopped talking the entire time. Unbelievable! The food was extremely burnt and bitter. This was supposed to have been a joyous occasion for us, instead I left crying.
