We are a third and fourth generation family bakery established in E St Louis in 1919. We offer a full line of family recipe items. We have rye, cream, and specialty breads. We also offer scratch baked decorated cakes with our own special buttercream. Stollens, strudels, donuts, danish, cookies, coffee cakes, peanut cake, and of course gooey butter!

I ordered a birthday cake from Krutas, yesterday(I had never been there before or had anything from there) It was ready within the hour! They brought it to my car! And the flavor and freshness was the BEST!!! It was actually my birthday and staying alone during this time can sometimes be a little tough. My brother brought me dinner from a local barbecue restaurant and took half the cake home. He also thought it was outstanding!!! I am Not from the area Looking for some sweet treats Siri pointed me to this local bakery easy to find in Collinsville and WOW impressed with the staff they are handling their guests great during this time and the product was amazing. I got as many recommended items as would fit in a box and I will visit again First time in and the sign says they’ve been there since 1919. Shop local folks this place is a treasure
