We are a third and fourth generation family bakery established in E St Louis in 1919. We offer a full line of family recipe items. We have rye, cream, and specialty breads. We also offer scratch baked decorated cakes with our own special buttercream. Stollens, strudels, donuts, danish, cookies, coffee cakes, peanut cake, and of course gooey butter!

Kruta Bakery Inc is the best I've ever tasted I have never had better pastry! This place is amazing. Wished they shipped I've had the peanut cake, bread, birthday cakes all Great Deals best prices , I would recommend them just wish they had one in Houston. I make it to Collinsville 2 X's a year and make as many visits as I can to Kruta's
The BEST!! Kruta's bakery is by far the best bakery in the St. Louis Metro area. The Gooey Butter Cake could put them on the map. The also have the best "filled" cakes around. I will drive the distance to get a Kruta's filled cake. The taste is impeccable, the prices are reasonable. You have to go early, they sell out fast, but their goodies are worth getting up for!!!!
Fantastic Bakery!!!! What a wonderful bakery located in Collinsville. I jsut love this place, and I go here every year to get my birthday cake. They have great fresh breads and other baked goods. The staff is very helpful when it is hard for me to decide between two or three things. FANTASTIC
Makes my mouth water just to think about this place! Kruta's Bakery is located about 10 miles from my home but I would put Kruta's Bakery at the top of the list of all bakeries. They have a wide variety of pastries, and everytime I go in there, it all looks so good that I want to order one of everything!! Ms. I live in Texas and every time I visit my relatives in Fairview Heights Kruta's is a must. I can't even tell you the number of times they have packaged things for me to carry on the plane. My relatives are all gone now. Not only do I miss them but I really miss Kruta's. Judy N.
The Absolute Best! I grew up in the Collinsville area and Kruta's was always a weekend treat. We moved to Houston, Texas 25 years ago but that hasn't stopped us. Every time we are back in the vicinity visiting relatives a trip to Kruta's is on the agenda. Nothing like them back in Houston!
1st Class Bakery I grew-up eating Kruta's baked goods from their E. St. Louis location. That dates me. This location has all my favorites, especially the poppy-seed roll and Napoleons. Now, I drive 2 hours to visit them.It's best to pre-order, rather than taking your chances at what's left.
Kruta's The same cute older ladies are there to greet you that have have been there for at least 25 years. The prices are reasonable and the pastries and breads are some of the best in the area.
RecommendedI’m new in town and so far, we’ve tried donuts, fresh baked bread and butter cake. Reasonable prices, super friendly staff and delicious food! LOVE this place!
